Also, by looking over at the menu on the left, you'll notice a Photos section. That's the Photo Gallery, and contains pictures from our meets. Be sure to check them out! To sign up for the Puget Sounder Newsletter to be mailed to your door, Click Here

In memory of Jerry Bell, our chapter editor for over 31 years, the following are his words about the upcoming meets (except for the dates):

    10:00 AM, Saturday, 25 November 2017

“The meet will be held in the Clubhouse at Shelter Bay, just across the big red  bridge from the City of La Conner, WA. Our host will be Bob Grubb, who lives at Shelter Bay. He takes care of reserving the building for us, arranging for the food and all of the activities, etc. Thanks for you efforts, Bob.
Bring motors to display and to sell. Also, bring motors, parts, accessories, etc. for our last raffle of this year. Tickets will be sold for $1.00 each and the proceeds will go into our Chapter Operating Fund.
As you already know, we have four raffles each year, at our January meet at Tracy Nelson's house, at the Moses Lake Meet in April, at the Fall Lake Mayfield Meet in September and at this La Conner Meet in November. They are spread out pretty well during the year, so that we don't tax the flow of  parts and motors for the raffles. And, it keeps a fairly steady flow of cash coming into our Chapter Treasury.
For our lunch, at La Conner, we will have our usual sandwiches, which will be supplied by the Chapter. So, bring something to go with them, such as salads, desserts, chips, cookies, etc.
We will meet in the big clubhouse room and our raffle items will be laid out on the walkway, in front of the building's entry deck, all as usual. The place works very well for us, even if it might rain, or snow.
To get to the meet, from the south on I-5, take exit no. 221. Go left, over the freeway, then follow the signs to La Conner. (As soon as you get off of I-5 and out of the interchange, you make a quick right, onto the road to La Conner. Don't miss this turn.)
At La Conner, go through the round-about and take the first left onto Maple St. Follow Maple St. until you cross the big red bridge. Take the first left, after the bridge, and go straight onto Shelter Bay Drive until you come to the golf course. Take the first left into the Clubhouse, at 1000 Shoshone Dr. Dat's de place.
Be sure to come and join us for this last meet of the year.”
